Platform Wins Beautification Award
In case you missed it, Platform won the Alexandria Beautification Commission’s 2023 Alexandria Community Beautification Award! Platform won accolades for creating an inviting and inspiring park that replaces industrial space and parking lots with public art and lush space for leisure.
When we designed Platform, the intention was to design a place where culture and convenience could connect—where style meets substance, form meets function, and creativity reigns supreme. Inside and out, Platform nurtures nature, inspires art, and give to the community in a meaningful way.

The building itself is an ode to art deco roots, designed by renowned architect Abed Benzina. Pulling from existing Alexandrian building aesthetics while putting a contemporary spin on style, Platform is about enhancing quality of life for residents and the community alike. Part of that is using our space to support public artworks, with exhibitions within the building and sculptures outside.
Platform is also proud to be a LEED certified building. We knew that part of contributing to the community was to tread lightly and prioritize energy efficiency, water efficiency, and noise mitigation.
